How (Not) To Read Sextus Empiricus

Roger here again.

Since I’ve treated the topic here before, once or twice — though never in the detail required to satisfy certain skeptics of skepticism — I thought I’d let folks know that a paper of mine, on Pyrrhonian skepticism, has come out in the latest issue of Ancient Philosophy.

It’s behind a pay-wall, unfortunately, and I can’t simply post it here.  Anyone affiliated with a university should have free access to it, though.

The paper was originally written in 2012, soon after I wrote the two TPB posts linked to above.  It was accepted for publication that summer, but is only now appearing — which is just as well, as far as I’m concerned, since I kept making changes to it through last fall, when it was finally type-set.

At any rate, I’d be happy to chat about it if folks are interested.
